ABOUT THE SITE

This site provides students the opportunity to learn the art of Capoeira, as well as interact with the children of Project Bantu, who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, through a variety of icebreakers and games. Additionally, you will help assist in remodelling their classrooms in order to create a safe environment to help promote learning and positivity.  

You will: 

• Assist in cleaning classroom 

• Paint classroom walls and redecorate the murals 

• Meet a new community of students 

• Plan activities to interactive with students of Project Bantu (ie. icebreakers, games)

• Learn Capoeira Angola (Afro-Brazilian art form) in the site 

• Teach children about the art form
