Arrival day. Students are picked up by the host families from the bus station. Teachers are picked up from the bus station and accommodated at Hotel ΑΧΙΛΛΕΙΟΝ in Trikala ,2 Asklipiou str

Monday 13.05

8: 15 We pick you up from the hotel.

9:00 Arrival to the school, welcoming and official opening of the meeting. Speeches, Presentation of the teams and traditional Greek and other team’s folklore dances.

1^st day of debate tournament, lunch at school.

After the debates free afternoon and some rest at the hotel.

9:00 Dinner at Hani (Χανι) restaurant

Tuesday 14.05

8:30Teachers are picked up from the hotel

9:00 Arrival at school – second day of debate tournament, lunch at school

Finals of the tournamentFree afternoon Optional programme

Wednesday 15.05

7:00 Teachers and students are picked up from the city centre for a day trip to Thessaloniki.

10:00-14:00 Guided tour in the most significant sights of the city.(Castles-St. Dimitrios Church, House of Kemal Ataturk ,Archaeological Museum- White Tower)-

Free time

15:30 Lunch near the sea in Kalamaria –Εν πλω Restaurant

18:00 Departure from Thessaloniki.

19:30 Stop for half an hour in Palaios Pantaileimonas for coffee and sweet, ice-cream (if you wish)

Thursday 16.05

8:30- Teachers and students are picked up from the city centre for a day trip to Meteora, a magnificent place protected by Unesco-Kalambaka.

Guided tour in 2 monasteries (6 euros entrance to 2 monasteries)- Hiking

13:00Visit to Digital Museum(free entrance)

14: 30 Lunch in Panorama Meteora Restaurant

16:00 Walk in Kalambaka for buying souvenirs or drinking coffee.(We propose the café Feel the Rocks)

18:30 Departure for Trikala

Friday 17.05

10:00 A visit to Trikala town. A guided tour for teachers and students to the most significant sights of the town

10:30 Visit to Tsitsani Museum, dedicated to Vasilis Tsitsanis , the most famous traditional composer of Greek songs born in Trikala

13:00 Free time

20:00 Gala Dinner at Ananti City Resort Hotel

Give Awards and dancing night.

22:00 Arrival in Trikala
