Current students who need a high school transcript for college, scholarship, or insurance purposes have the option to select an official or unofficial high school transcript from Parchment at no cost to current students.
What is an official transcript?
These transcripts are electronically sealed and sent to another party as verification of graduation. They include all past grades, class rank and GPA, ACT scores. Transcripts must be requested 24 - 48 hours before a deadline and are free to send via Parchment.
What is an unofficial transcript?
These transcripts are not sealed and sent directly to the email listed on Parchment. These are fee free and commonly used for insurance purposes, scholarship applications, or personal need. They can also be viewed on Student Portal under Documents.
Final Official Transcripts:
College-bound graduates will need to send their final transcript after their Quarter 4 grades are posted in mid June. During SSR in May you will set this up to release your final transcript once grades are posted.

Students who have taken College in the Schools classes will need to send their college transcripts when applying to postsecondary institutions and again following graduation. For more information and steps please visit the following sites:
*Please note if you are attending a Minnesota College State University (MnSCU School), you do not need to pay to send your college transcripts as described below, but contact your college admission office to reference that you took classes through SMSU & SCSU so credits transfer over.
