Water Projects

Project #1: Tap Water Quality: used water quality test kits for tap water at school. Collected data from 4 different taps and found that the water metsstandards but is extremely hard.

Project #2: DIY Water Filters: based on water quality tests, students designed and built water filters to test how the tap water changed as it was filtered.

Project #3: Hydroponics - we are growing our pollinator plants and natural insecticides to be sold at Community Green Day. Currently have over 80 plants.

Project #4: Soil Regeneration - learned about methods to implement soil health that allows water to be slowly absorbed to help purify the water and prevent run off. Students amended soil at 3 Agriscape Landscapes.
