Seesaw New Logo 2023

Hi All,

I wanted to give you a heads up and share that on October 27th, 2023, Seesaw is launching a new logo, app icon, and marketing website. The functionality of the Seesaw platform will not change. Teachers should have received an email communication about this change on October 19th. In order to help you prepare for this change, here is some information below:

Adding a video to Seesaw from Google Drive

This walks you through how to embed a video from a shared Google Drive folder into a Seesaw activity. This works for videos 5 minutes or shorter. Longer videos can be loaded from your desktop, instead of from Google Drive.

Protecting student privacy

Please be sure to go into your Class Settings (the wrench in the top right corner) and adjust your student and family settings to the following:

Turn off Student Likes and Comments.

Turn off Students can see each other's work.

Turn off Enable Item Editing.

Turn off Family Sharing, Likes and Comments.

If your class does not sync to Skyward, you might have to add your own students to your Seesaw class. This video shows that process.
