The Normandale Hills Spring Carnival will be on Friday, May 1st from 6-8pm!
The carnival needs about 150 volunteers to fully staff every game, activity station, food vending line and silent auction/raffle location before, during and after the carnival. Shifts are available throughout the night and anyone can volunteer - parents, older siblings, grandparents, or community members!
Visit the volunteer sign-up genius HERE and let us know you can help out!
In order to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate, including family and friends who may not be physically at the carnival, the silent auction will be open the entire month of April leading up to the carnival on May 1st.
There are a number of tangible and non-tangible items up for bid - both types of items will be added throughout the month, so check back often to get your early bids in.
Besides the tangible items up for bid, such as all-day passes to amusements, sports league registration vouchers and gift packages to local restaurants, there are a number of intangible items that will be put up for bid. These are experiences provided by NH staff and community members who volunteer their time and resources to raise funds for the NH PTA. The first of these has already been listed - VIP parking at next year's Festival of Learning. The Mortimer family won the bidding for this last year and will avoid all the hassle of finding parking on the busy event night. Could it be you next year?
