Brian Melendez has been teaching at Jefferson since the fall of 2011 and is thankful for the opportunity to work in such a great educational environment. Having the privilege of working with young people and helping them realize how science is part of the world around them motivates his love for teaching.

Besides teaching, he also coaches distance for the boys track team at Jefferson. Personal interests include running, basketball, camping, traveling, cooking and eating good food. Our family (including my wife, our 3 children and dog) loves living in Minnesota.
