DakotaLink is a bus service, paid by Dakota County, to help individuals access County services, court appointments, meetings with staff, and other County-related activities. The service provides three round-trips each day, Monday–Friday (except holidays), between the Judicial Center in Hastings and transit hubs at Cedar Grove Transit Station in Eagan and the Signal Hills Shopping Center in West St. Paul. The pilot bus service started in September. We have had great ridership so far, but want to make sure that everybody knows about the pilot.

Who can ride

  • Dakota County clients needing to work with their financial or social worker, public health nurse, veterans service or probation officer or other staff member regarding county business

  • Individuals wanting to attend immunization, dental or WIC clinics

  • Individuals involved in the court system

  • Released inmates

  • Family and friends visiting an inmate or accessing jail services.

Staff are encouraged to let their clients know this service is available when a ride is needed for County-related business.
