2025-26 School Readiness
School Readiness is a drop-off preschool program for children 4 and 5 years old. Children who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible to attend the 2025-26 school year. The program provides opportunities for children to play, grow and have the necessary skills, behaviors and stability they need to progress and flourish today and tomorrow.
Classes will run September 2025 - May 2026
Section 1: Monday & Wednesday | 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. FULL
Section 2: Tuesday & Thursday | 8 a.m - 3 p.m. FULL
Section 3: Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs | 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. FULL
Section 4: Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs | 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Watch the video to walk through registration. Things to know ahead of registration:
You'll need to upload a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization records.
What your child's transportation plans are for getting to school and getting home include addresses of each location if they are using the bus or midday transportation.
Upload income verification if you qualify for reduced tuition. Examples of proof of income to upload:
Most current Income Tax Statement for all adults in household (page with line 9 on the 1040 form)
Most recent past 2 months pay stubs

School Readiness Transportation
School Readiness students that live in the Pequot Lakes district are welcome to utilize bus transportation before and after school at no cost. Midday transportation is available to in-district students for $50/month. Income eligible students qualify for free or reduced midday transportation. Pre-registration is required for bus and midday transportation.

Financial Assistance
Families that have an annual household income less than $100,000 are eligible for reduced tuition.
Early Learning Scholarships are available to eligible families.

Students enrolled in School Readiness, who are on a regular bus route, are able to ride the school bus before and/or after school. Midday transportation is available for a fee.
