NearPod

Great interactive tool that allows students to become a part of the learning environment. The instant feedback from student responses helps me target struggling learners.

  • NearPod allows the flexibility to engage students as a whole class or individually through assignments.

  • Using NearPod in the classroom opens up the environment to additional resources that can assist students with their current skills.

  • Teachers can use NearPod as a tool to provide instant feedback and support. Or, teachers can use the information to build additional support groups or lessons for remediation and acceleration.

Interactive Learning

Lessons are taught live or at student pace through Google Classroom. On live mode students can challenge each other through games and activities to practice fluency skills. Or support and work as a class to complete a virtual field trip and share the experience. Student pace allows the learning to continue virtually or can support the learning at home with additional resources.

Connecting Real World to the Classroom

I like to use the live activities and Virtual Fieldtrips to connect the learning in the classroom to additional resources. This allows the students to connect knowledge and build a broader base of scheme for future learning.

Guiding Instruction

The feedback from the lessons can be retrieved at a later date for me to analyze and determine where additional instruction is needed. Or, I can get instant feedback during the lesson to correct misconceptions or target struggling learners.
