Google Slides

💻Google Slides

I use these daily! I plan my whole day to correspond to the slides, when I need to be out, it is easy to let a substitute run through a normal day with the continuous slide presentation.

  • Step-by-Step daily plans with prompts and links to all the daily activities and resources.

  • Google Slides are interactive and allow for us to manipulate the information through animation while we are teaching the lesson.

  • The slides used daily can be a resource when students are out for a period of time, or to allow the teacher to continue guiding instruction and assist a substitute with guided information with the slides.

Focused Lessons

Using Google Slides to keep the lessons on track all day has benefits for the students and me. They know their expectations, and where their focus should be at all times, and I can stay on schedule throughout the day.

Interactive

By creating slides with the animation features, the lessons capture the students interest and allows me to meet their needs by backing up the animation or replaying to model how an activity should be done.

Substitutes or Virtual Learners

The Google Slides allow for a substitute to come into my class and have a visual lesson of where the students are learning and what the work should look like. Also, if a child has to be on a virtual lesson the slides can be published and uploaded to Google Classroom. They can follow along throughout the day or reference information they are struggling with in their learning.
