Google Earth

🌏Google Earth

My students love to explore locations around the world and close to home. Building presentations are easy and help the kids make connections to the big picture.

  • Google Earth allows the class to explore events, landforms, and historical monuments around the world.

  • I can create my own projects to showcase specific locations, timelines, or moments to bring the lesson to life for my students.

  • By adding photos, historic documents, timeline details students can visualize the lesson and gain a deeper understanding of the content.

Bringing the World Inside

Using Google Earth to explore locations around the world has allowed my students to understand where they live and their connection to the world outside of our area.

Custom Projects

I can create custom projects and add pictures to my own locations around the world. This allows me to add information at each stop on our project. I can then share the project with my team, and collaborate with them.

Making Connections

By adding details to locations in a project, the kids can see the location, zoom in to street level and explore pictures of the location to gain a better understanding of the events that we are teaching.
