8th-grader, Jontaya Lowe, won Bowie's #BlackHistoryMonth art competition 🎨, and science teacher, Ms. Evosha Wilson, won the door decorating contest! 🚪🤩
Cubs are using ThingLink software and 360 cameras to create interactive VR tours of beloved classrooms, Irving locales, and dream destinations, all while refining their narrative and design skills with creative tools like AI Art Generation, Canva, and Vectr.
This past Saturday, our Bowie students shone at the Spring Kickstart Qualifier, securing spots for Regionals. Dianne G and Kevin S. both triumphed with 1st in sparring and 3rd in both Weapons and Forms. Juan O clinched 2nd in Weapons and Forms, while Timothy P grabbed 3rd in Forms. Mr. Sapp commends their three-year dedication, highlighting Rhett B's consistent competition since 6th grade. A proud moment for Bowie!

Our traditional 8th grade picnic is fast approaching. Scheduled for May 17th, it is a day for 8th graders to get away from the campus and enjoy the company of friends and teachers they have grown with over the last few years in middle school. It is a special event that has some special requirements in order to attend. Please look at the flyer and encourage your child to give their best effort as we round down the year.
