Field Trips

Our students will be participating an various field trips through the school year. It is very important that the student returns the permission slip to the teacher. This is required if the student intends on taking part in the field trip. We try to keep the cost at a minimum, if not free. There may be a filed trip that we just can't get around a small cost. If the trip is a full day, the students may bring a lunch from home or buy a bag lunch from the cafeteria. If the trip is a half day, students will eat lunch when we return to the school.

In the past, the field trips for physical education class have included going bowling on Fort Drum at Pines Plains, swimming at our middle school pool, hiking on Fort Drum as well as hiking at Whetstone Golf in Lowville, and attending the Nature Center on Wellsely Island. We are always looking for new and exciting places to explore in our community.
