• Students are encouraged to practice High Frequency Words at home. Rapid recognition of sight words is necessary to read at grade level.
• Please take time to help your child learn the words. Flashcards are a quick and easy way to do this. If your child does not know a word, tell them the word and make them repeat it, and then move on to the next word. Over time, they will learn it.

BEAT THE COMPUTER:

Try to say the word before the computer does! If you don't know the word, listen to the computer and repeat the word. You'll learn it soon!
