Indian River Central School District is designated by New York State as an Opioid Overdose Prevention Program.  We encourage any staff member who is interested in learning this valuable life-saving skill to visit the NYS Center for School Health website and complete the Opioid Overdose Prevention Training (click icon on the left).  The certificate from this 35-minute professional development course is valid for two (2) years.  However, we strongly recommend reviewing the free course at least yearly.  Please provide a copy of your certificate to the Health Services office to receive a free Narcan kit.
