Indian River is proud to partner with Carthage Area Hospital to provide our 2nd and 3rd grade students with access to education on oral health, nutrition and the benefits of dental sealants.   Dental sealant placement is a quick, painless procedure where a protective material is applied to molars and hardened with a special light, filling deep grooves that could otherwise lead to cavities and tooth decay.   The procedure is done at the school and there are no out-of-pocket costs for parents.
