Story of a Poet

Introduction

These resources will help you find information about your selected poet.

When looking for biographical information, make sure to concentrate on information that looks at their writing in the context of their life

Read the poet's  biography and commentary about their writing before you choose a poem. The most studied, influential or most famous poems will probably be mentioned in your readings.

When looking for literary criticism, it might be best to concentrate on articles that give a critical overview first instead of anything too in-depth.

Search the LMC catalog for books about your topic.
