Grade 9-11. Placement required
The Geometry units include: transformations, constructions, congruence, properties and applications of quadrilaterals and circles, coordinate geometry, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, and surface area and volume of three-dimensional figures. The Math Practice Standards are the foundation of lessons, teaching students how to reason and think mathematically. A graphing calculator (TI-84 or equivalent is recommended), compass, and protractor are required.
Below is a list of units that will be taught in this course. Use the links to retrieve the lessons for each target. The units are sorted in the order of how they will be taught. Students will follow the lessons as posted on Google classroom or using the class calendar. Each lesson page has the unit calendar, learning objectives, some lesson videos and learning tasks that will be completed in a timely fashion to promote student learning.

You will be expected to follow guidelines issued by the school district that support a safe learning environment. COVID-19 guidelines will be strictly followed in the classroom setting including the use of a face mask and remaining 3-ft apart. You must also bring your own materials to class.
You will be expected to complete assignments according to due dates.
ALL assignments will be reviewed and assessed to provide you guidance as you learn. It is your responsibility to review comments posted to your assignment and make necessary corrections where applicable.
I will use a Google classroom to post the daily/weekly expectations. Here is a video link to help you navigate through Google classroom.
