About the Webinar
To seamlessly continue with the teaching-learning process of Multi-Media and Mass Communication during this current pandemic, the College is pleased to announce an International Webinar which aims to educate both faculties and students of media studies, across universities, with the basic tools, software and sharing platforms necessary in the media discourse. To bring internationally acclaimed voices to the Webinar, Professor Dr. Roseann Mandziuk from Texas State University, US would give a brief overview of ‘Online Learning Paradigms in the US,’ making us understand the changing complexities and realities of online learning/teaching at a global scale.
With a special emphasis on open-access software and easy-to-understand technology, the Webinar would focus on training participants with software such as Adobe Spark, Premier Rush, Moovly, Render Forest, Canova, and Format Factory. The basics of radio recording, editing, and broadcasting would be taught, along with scriptwriting for documentary film-making. The use of video production tools for newsgathering would be illustrated through short practical-oriented videos. A session on online learning of Graphic Designing and visual tools would further add value to the webinar’s pedagogy.
The Webinar would also focus on understanding the Copyright issues and Intellectual Property Rights along with methodologies to avoid plagiarism.
In the present scenario, the fields of Digital Marketing and Communication Research are buzzing with a lot of activity. A short insight into this will be possible with lecture-cum-workshop conducted by acclaimed resource persons from the industry.
