Vigilance Awareness Week
On Saturday, 31st October 2020, the Department of Multi Media and Mass Communication of Indraprastha College Women, organised a google meet at 11:30 a.m. to observe the 'Vigilance Awareness Week'.
The advisor of BMMMC academic society, Ms. Aahana B. Chopra, announced a logo designing competition. She reiterated the guidelines of the competition. It was open for all the students of the college on the pressing social issue of tackling ‘fake news’ in light of the Vigilance Awareness Week.
Ms. Tanushree initiated the Integrity pledge. Students from both second and the third year of the department joined the faculty in taking the ‘Integrity Pledge for Citizens’. The pledge recognised corruption as one of the major obstacles to the progress of the country and thus made sure that all the persons who took the pledge conform to honourable principles to lead life, such as following probity and rule of law, neither take nor offer bribe and leading by example.
The Central Vigilance Commission observes the Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2nd November, 2020. In 2020, the week had the theme- ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat’.
