Shepard Fairey - Photo Synthesis
From grassroots to galleries. Shepard Fairey is one of the most well-known street artists with over 135 murals around the world. He had his breakthrough with the portrait of Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign in the United States, and with the explosive rise of the clothing brand OBEY. Fotografiska is now presenting Shepard Fairey’s first solo exhibition in Sweden, where his previous iconic pieces are shown alongside new works created specifically for the exhibition.

Museum de Vries Day
See the world's largest collection of Adriaen de Vries sculptures during this special themed day with its own guided tour and quiz for children. Our knowledgeable guides are on site to help and explain. In Drottningholm's palace park there are modern bronze casts of Adriaen de Vries' sculptures, while in the museum, the originals from the 17th century are stored, protected from the elements.

A Midsummer nights dream
There are still tickets left to Shakespeare's most popular comedy. Live music, powerful choreography and a simple performance style allow a modern audience to experience Shakespeare's great love story as an Elizabethan audience might have done at a London theatre some four hundred years ago. This is part of a castle tour by American Drama Group Europe held in Kungliga Djurgården .

Asian Film Festival 2024
Asiatiska Filmfestivalen’s 2024 autumn session takes place from september 11th to 15th in Stockholm at the Grand theater.
Open this autumn session with three films from Hong Kong showcasing the vibrant contemporary Hong Kong cinema. The program is presented with the support of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London.
