The Stockholm International Film Festival takes over the capital's cinemas and showcases 100 films from around the world. The program will be released mid October.

Christmas Lights 2024 Inauguration
Christmas doesn't really start in Stockholm until the lights come on - and you can download the lightmap for your walking tour! The city will welcome everyone to the main stage in Kungsträdgården for the grand inauguration. There will be over 40 streets, squares and other locations lit up using over a million LED lights, so it's a great time to explore the city!

Ballet Askungen : Operan
A new interpretation of Cinderella created exclusively for the Royal Ballet by Tamara Rojo, director of the San Francisco Ballet. Together with colorful costumes by fashion designer Christian Lacroix and Prokofiev's classical and well-known music, a colorful evening is created for the whole family. »Costume party when Lacroix dresses Cinderella for the ball«, wrote SvD.
Cinderella is washed ashore and placed in an orphanage in Stockholm, where she ends up at the bottom of the pecking order. When Cinderella is stopped from participating in a dance performance because her dancing style is bold and explosive, the friends come to the rescue.

With her on stage, she has the Argentinian tango singer Alejo Falces as her sidekick.
