Teacher Information
For the coming weeks students will work in their advisory/IaS/science classes to prepare for SISMUN 2024. Find the plan for your grade below:
Grade 6 & 7
Grade 6 and 7 will be given instructions in their IaS and science classes about their topics (read more about the topics under the "Mini-Mun" page)
If teachers want more information about MUN and the procedures please contact the Secreatary General (find contact information under "Meet the Team")
Grade 8 & 9 & 10
Grade 8, 9 and 10s will be given instructions from their teachers regarding SISMUN. However, all students can find their country allocations and chair allocations on the website under "allocations SISMUN 2024" page.
Students who are delegates should be prepared by having an opening speech ready as well a position paper. Templetes for these can be found under the "Tips for Delegates and Chairs" page.
Students who are chairing will need to research the topic they are chairing for, and will be instructed by their teacher the requirments regarding the MUN summative for IaS class.
Grade 11
Grade 11s should work in their advisory classes. Teachers should give students time to create their position papers in order to prepare for their confrence:
Teachers should inform students to find their contry and commitee allocation for Friday under the "Allocations SISMUN 2024" page
Then students should select a position paper templete under "Tips for Delegates and Chairs" page
Then students should spend their advisory lessons to fill out their position paper and to write an opening speech for the conference
The students that are chairs should spend the time researching about the commitee and topic they are chairing for. The students should be advised to create a research paper about the topic. (chairs can find their chair allocation under the "Allocations SISMUN 2024" page)
