SEE's eTwinning project as example in national training "eTwinning Erasmus", by Catalan government
Our eTwinning project has been used as an example of good practices in a national training called "eTwinning Erasmus", organised by Catalan Department of Education, and led by Esther Rodríguez, eTwinning Ambassador and advisor of European Programs in the Territorial Services of Baix Llobregat (Barcelona), and winner of different eTwinning Schoollabel awards.
We have been holding meetings with the new partners (we repeat with Finland, Italy and Portugal and Germany is added), to apply again for an Erasmus+ project. They changed the types of Erasmus+ and, when we did the project at the end of last year with Italy as coordinator, we approved but did not receive a grant, because a strong institution was needed behind it to take care of the financial management. That is why we are now re-presenting the project, with Finland as coordinator, which has the support of the Helsinki University. The deadline is February 20th 2024.
A new online meeting has been called on Monday at 6pm, where we will have to present the description of the institute, including the objectives of both the project and the Finnish consortium. We will also have to make a proposal for a new project title. The project presented in the previous call was called Growing IDs; now we should also change the title, taking into account that we are talking about the following:
THE CONSTRUCTION OF PERSONAL IDENTITY IN ADOLESCENCE, WITH ATTENTION TO THESE THREE ASPECTS:
-MENTAL HEALTH: GROWING PROBLEMS AMONG ADOLESCENTS (ANXIETY, EATING DISORDERS...)
-ONLIFE (PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPT TO DESIGNATE YOUNG PEOPLE'S INABILITY TO SEPARATE VIRTUAL LIFE FROM PHYSICAL LIFE. BECAUSE PERFECTION IS OFFERED IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD...
GENDER IDENTITY: OFFERING SAFE SPACES THAT CONSIDER GENDER DIVERSITY TO AVOID DISCRIMINATION AFFECTING ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH.
If you have any suggestions for a suitable title for the project, go ahead and share it with us!!! See if you can come up with an acronym, like Let's SEE (Social Emotional Education)). You know, if your mind is bored, and you want to ramble a bit and let your imagination run wild...any suggestions are welcome!!

Títol després d’un sondeig a cada institut.
Nosaltres vam plantejar propostes a través xarxes socials.
• Vam tenir algunes bones propostes per a posar-li un nom:
•"Actually Teens”
•“Life protection”,
•“Vides paral·les”,
•“Focus on”,
•“Live your life”,
•“La salut juvenil”,
•“Aprendre sobre nosaltres”,
•“Incubadora”...
Finalment, els coordinadors internacionals van escollir la proposta d’Itàlia, amb l’acrònim:
BEST
(Being Emotionally Stronger Together).
CENTRAT SOBRE TRES CONCEPTES
•1) Onlife (concepte filosòfic per designar la incapacitat de separar la vida virtual de la física): en el món virtual s'ofereix la perfecció com el normatiu; fins a quin punt aquest fet té correlació amb una progressiva pèrdua de tolerància a la frustració, que provocaria una salut mental més precària, sobretot en l'adolescència, més exposada a la vida onlife?
•2) Salut mental: investigar l’increment de problemes psicològics entre el jovent, com trastorns alimentaris, crisis d’ansietat... Hi ha psicopedagogues i tutors involucrats en el projecte.
•3) Identitat de gènere: Mostrar el seu paper clau en la construcció de l’adolescència, i investigar com oferir espais segurs que contemplin la diversitat de gènere, com a mesura per evitar que la discriminació afecti la salut mental de l’alumnat.
