· Where is this place? Why is still uncharted?
That cave is located in the Abkhazia Region, in the western Caucasus. Krubera caves are still being explored, many parts have been and have reached very exaggerated depths, but there are areas that are still unexplored or are very difficult to analyze, special the flooded or very narrow part.
· Why do humans explored it?
They want to explore it to better understand the land and how coves com to form, also to study groundwater and to discover what kind of life con live there.
· The journey to get there, the terrain and the risks
To get there, what archeologists do is to make a plane trip as close possible, and then drive to there, and finally they have to make a walking path with all necessary material and settle there making a base camp.
The cave, being so long and large, has very deep vertical pus, narrow galleries, river, and underground lakes, very highs humidity and very low temperatures.
The risks of this cave are that there may be falls, floods, extremely loe temperatures, and extreme tiredness, so the people who explored are professionals archeologists and specialized.
· The predictions of this exploration
In the future, scientist will be exploring the Krubera cave to fins new tunnels. They will be studying the cave and its underground water. In the coming years, explorers will have discovered new areas inside it.
