Achuar
The Achuar are a group of indigenous people in Perú. The Achuar live on the border between Ecuador and Perú. The Achuar people large oval-like houses with high roofs. The roofs contain inner walls, but no outer walls for ventilation. While the Achuar fish and hunt for food, they mostly rely on their crops. The Amazon has been home to the Achuar for thousands of years. Shamanism is the religion that is practiced by the Achuar, which is the belief that the world is controlled by spirits more powerful than us.
