The traditional clothing and modern clothing of Perú differ heavily. For example, panchos aren´t as common in modern Perúvian clothing. However, women in Perú still wear skirts. Hats are also still worn. Both traditional and modern Perúvian clothing are important for Perúvian culture.
Perú and America have similar styles of modern clothing. Both American and Perúvian men dress in shirts and pants, and women in both countries often dress in blouses and skirts. Formal clothing is also similar, as men and women of both countries wear dresses and suits. Panchos aren't as popular in the States, though. Both Perú and America have related taste in modern clothing.
Shopping
People in Perú shop in many places. Some of these places include malls and flea markets. Bargaining is allowed in Perúvian markets, but it is frowned upon to bargain in other shopping places. Markets are prominent in both urban and rural areas of Perú, but urban areas generally have more options to shop at. Online shopping in Perú isn´t as relevant than it is in the U.S., but Perúvians still shop online. The top three most visited online marketplaces are Falabella.com, Mercadolibre.com, and Aliexpress.com.
