The Cross-Practice Innovation Fund is one of the ways that the WWF Practices were creating a space for bringing people together from different disciplines, perspectives and backgrounds that allowed us to develop unique, multi-faceted, and innovative solutions to some of the most entrenched conservation challenges.
1
To develop and implement ambitions and innovation solutions at the idea or scaling stage to address key conservation challenges and to generate new ideas throughout the process.
2
To empower teams to gain the skills and confidence to apply innovative approaches to their work beyond the innovation challenges.
3
To boost the innovation culture throughout the WWF network and increase commitment to WWF's innovation approach.
Who were the organisers?
The Cross-Practice Innovation Fund is orchestrated by the 9 Practice Core teams working closely together with the team around innovation @ WWF and the innovation pillars. The funding process was co-created between these groups. A joint steering group has been put in place to lead the implementation with a representative of each practice core team and the Innovation @ WWF stewarding the process.
