Our school is proud to offer a variety of programs designed to develop student leadership and peer support skills. These initiatives provide our students with opportunities to make meaningful contributions both within and outside the school community.
Our "Support & Grow Together" program is an initiative where A-Level students mentor primary students who need academic support. Over seven weeks, the senior students dedicate 14 hours to teaching and mentoring, resulting in significant improvements for the junior students and enhanced leadership skills for the mentors.
The "Support & Grow Together" program brings immense joy and fulfillment to both A-Level mentors and primary students.
Through their dedicated efforts, A-level mentors experience the happiness of making a tangible difference, while younger students gain confidence and improve academically, creating a rewarding and uplifting experience for all involved.
In the "Kitchen-Garden Project," A-Level students volunteer at a halfway home, engaging in activities such as clearing vegetable beds and planting new seeds. This program not only supports the local community but also instills a sense of selflessness and dedication in our students. We are immensely proud of their efforts and the positive impact they make on others' lives.
Peer Support Leadership Program
The "Peer Support Leadership Program" focuses on teaching students essential leadership skills such as empathy, non-judgmental understanding, and genuineness. These skills are then applied in various events and programs inside and outside the school. Last year, our students visited Rumah Set Kenangan, an elderly home in Cheras. The visit was filled with heartfelt interactions, from sharing stories to playing games, which brought joy to the elderly residents and valuable life lessons to our students.
Through these programs, our students learn the importance of giving back, developing empathy, and building strong leadership skills. We are committed to nurturing these qualities in our students, preparing them to be compassionate and effective leaders in their communities.
