Kristina Howell

Hello! My name is Kristina, and I am a second year Master of Science in Psychological Science student who works in a lab studying attachment and close relationships. My primary line of research examines parasocial relationships, or the one-sided relationships people have with media figures. I have additional projects focusing on religion, death anxiety, and criminal life narratives.

I am available to advise on anything you may need help with. As someone studying diverse topics, I have experience consolidating and articulating broad research interests. I currently lead a writing workshop and can provide feedback on writing flow, tailoring writing to a specific audience, and poster creation. I can also provide guidance on honing academic skills such as time management, note-taking, organization, study strategies, and coping with social anxiety in academia. For those interested in research, I can advise on Qualtrics and online data collection. If your specific question falls outside of this range of experience, I will do my best to direct you to the appropriate resources.
