State Poster Exposition  April 24 & 25 at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale

The IJAS State Poster Exposition will be Friday & Saturday, April 24 & 25 at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. 

For students moving on to the IJAS State Exposition, please be sure abstract, safety sheets, any endorsements in reports & their backboards are completed and signed by the TEACHER SPONSOR (not the parent) as necessary. Students should have a minimum of three complete copies of their lab report & background paper with them. 

There is NO ELECTRCITY available for students. This is a rule at the State level, and this rule is also implemented at the regional level. Also, students are NOT ALLOWED to show artifacts from their experiments. They may only have pictures. Please consult the IJAS Policy and Procedure manual available on-line at ijas.wildapricot.org 

Remember, students must have an abstract, TEACHER SPONSOR signed safety and endorsement sheet (if needed) on the front of their backboard.  All of these forms must also be at the front of each of the three copies of their report. Be sure that students are using current forms from the latest Policy and Procedure Manual found on-line at www.ijas.org . 

Please let your Sponsor know immediately if you will not be able to attend the state fair so that an Alternate may be sent in your place. All participants should also provide a judge for the event.
