Tips to Succeed
Create a calendar to organize your time. Include time to review your paper and practice your presentation.
Complete and print all necessary documents, including the safety sheet, abstract, and any necessary endorsements. You can find these documents on the IJAS website under Documents and Forms or on our Safety Tab above.
Make sure to print three copies of your finished paper for your presentation. Be sure your sponsor and you have signed all three copies of the Safety Sheets and any needed endorsements. Be sure to use black ink. Copies can be double-sided.
Bring pictures of your equipment set-up, procedure, and or results. Actual equipment or artifacts from your project may not be displayed.
Presentations should be approximately 10 minutes.
Practice, practice, practice! Smile, dress up, and make eye contact with the judges.
