Dishari Chattaraj, PhD
Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor
I am associated with the School of Humanities and Social Sciences as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore where I head the Education and Critical Food Studies Lab. My doctoral dissertation from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, focused on the development of a learner-centered learning model suitable for language learners in higher education spaces that I was able to develop further during my tenure as a Fulbright Fellow at Indiana University Bloomington in The United States of America.
Skilled in Curriculum Designing and Development, Pedagogies, Language Education, Academic Writing, Critical Thinking, and E-Learning, I am always looking for means to innovate new modes, materials, and methods for making learning and teaching exciting, enriching, and fun. I am also passionate about the emerging field of Food and Culture Studies which emerged from my interest in creating content on food consumption practices across social media platforms, an interest that I am taking forward through my academic explorations.
