Mr. Agarwal currently serves as Senior Manager – AI at EY, and has previously held leadership roles at Affine.ai, Tata Steel, and GE Healthcare, where he led and delivered high-impact Industrial AI programs across automotive, metals, mining, healthcare, and manufacturing domains. His career is a strong embodiment of Industry 5.0 principles, where AI systems work symbiotically with human expertise to enhance decision-making, productivity, and sustainability.
At Tata Steel, Mr. Agarwal spearheaded multiple human-in-the-loop AI initiatives, delivering a cumulative business impact exceeding ₹100 crore, through applications such as manufacturing process optimization, AI-driven quality inspection, anomaly detection, financial forecasting, and intelligent decision-support systems. These solutions were not just automated models, but collaborative AI systems designed to augment engineers, operators, and business leaders.
At Affine.ai, he led global AI programs for manufacturing clients across 40+ countries, architecting MLOps-enabled, cloud-native AI platforms on Azure and Databricks. His work in Digital Twins, GenAI-powered reporting, and Agentic AI solutions demonstrates how next-generation AI can coexist with human judgment to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and accelerate industrial transformation.
Mr. Agarwal’s expertise spans Industrial Analytics, Human-in-the-Loop AI, Digital Twins, GenAI, Agentic AI, and Manufacturing Optimization, making him a strong voice on how Industry 5.0 shifts the focus from pure automation to intelligent collaboration between humans and machines.
