It is a great pleasure to introduce today’s distinguished speaker, Mr. Santosh Kulkarni, a highly respected leader in the fields of Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI.

Mr. Kulkarni currently serves as Senior Director – Engineering, Data, AI & GenAI at EPAM India, where he leads a large, high-impact team of over 200 professionals across data technology, AI, and governance. With an illustrious career spanning more than two decades, he has played a pivotal role in building and scaling global data and AI practices, delivering enterprise-grade solutions for leading international organizations.

An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, Mr. Kulkarni holds an M.Tech with a Gold Medal for the best thesis, along with advanced qualifications in AI/ML and management. His expertise spans Agentic AI, MLOps, GenAI architecture, large-scale data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI governance, making him a sought-after thought leader in both industry and academia.

He has successfully led digital transformation initiatives for renowned global clients including Qatar Airways, Adidas, Deutsche Bank, Reckitt, Toronto Parking Authority, and several others. Beyond delivery excellence, he actively contributes to AI strategy, innovation programs, talent development, and policy discussions, and has represented his organization at prestigious global forums and conferences.

Mr. Kulkarni is also a published researcher, a frequent panelist and keynote speaker, and a strong advocate for responsible and scalable AI adoption.
