IGBIS Mission

“To create an inclusive learning community embracing diversity, and offering a challenging, caring and holistic education which empowers our students to be continuous learners and compassionate, knowledgeable and principled global citizens.”

In alignment with our Mission, IGBIS provides our students three High School graduation pathways.

The three academic programmes in G11-12 at IGBIS are the:

International Baccalaureate Full Diploma Programme (IBDP)
International Baccalaureate Diploma Courses pathway
International Baccalaureate Careers Programme (IBCP). All 3 pathways will also complete the IGBIS High School Diploma.

Holistic Success

At IGB in Grade 11 and 12 we of course value academic success and the options it provides to our students, post their IGB career in Universities around the world. However essential to our education in the final two years of their IB, is that students show success in many different areas : -

In the ARTS - we have fabulous Arts programme, and our IBCP Arts pathway with SCAD is highly successful.
In the SPORTS - our Senior varsity teams are highly competitive and successful and now involved in regional MRISA tournaments
In SERVICE and COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT - our students are actively involved in the school, local and regional communities to support, care and help others
In TECHNOLOGY - our students take part in many engineering and computer science competitions.
