The students of 1º ESO PAI of Reyes Católicos highschool have launched to record this wonderful video showing us and explaining to us, in English, the different spaces of the center. But what artists are made of!
One of the star projects of this year 2020-2021 is The plant house. It is a project that has
been designed for the students to put into practice different concepts. They learned about
work life. This way the work in the project of the plant house us not bound to a subject or an exact moment but each class contributes its part to the project.
The great variety of activities have been developed in the class and out of the class making the bet of the external spots of the high school such as the greenhouses or the different garden areas.
All this is possible thanks to the collaboration of Vocational Training students and agropecuaria pupils as well as the teachers of each class . From our garden company of the Plant House our duties are very varied and ronge from the preparation and sale of different products (branchies , vegetables , varied decorations to the resolution of different requests and maintaining the different graden áreas).
We have organised several workshops to raise awareness in different groups about the
different environmental issues in videos or audio clips.
Moreover farming students have built a hen house next to one of the greenhouses of the
high school.
At first, forty- eight eggs were hatched, only eleven were born. These eggs were donated by the Asociación de Criadores de Gallinas del Sobrarbe which is an Aragonese especial region.
For the eggs to have good conditions farming students set an incubator. They analyse
constantly the hens evolution to know their development. This project is a great opportunity to know better this hen species. Congrats!
At IES Reyes Católicos we celebrated Erasmus Days preparing fun videos with pictures of our Erasmus programes. We also played european music.
Also at the D. Sancho I institute they have prepared a more than entertaining video in which the students participating in the different Erasmus programs tell us about their experiences and benefits. You can not stop looking at it!
