eTwinning is the community for schools in Europe. It offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting learning community in Europe.
Check out our wonderful comic strips created by students from 1st ESO A!
Within the international project "Tell Me, Muse", we have collaborated with schools from Italy, Greece and France to reimagine the work of The Odyssey, by Homer.
This interdisciplinary project has allowed our students from 1st ESO A to explore key episodes from Homer’s Odyssey, such as Odysseus’ adventures with Polyphemus, Scylla and Charybdis, the Underworld, or Nausicaa. They had to compare them with works of art, literature, music, film, or photography, both old and new. Working in teams, they had to connect these ancient stories to modern themes such as migration, identity, and survival.
The final products have been exhibition-style presentations using images, short texts, and clear explanations to show the meaning of Homer's work and why these old stories are still important today. For example, our students decided to represent these stories as comic strips. After deciding to present their results in a comic-like product, they had to explore the exhibitions made by other European students and share their opinion following a guided template. The project has taken place from November to May and it has been very enriching and motivating for these 12-year-old students from 1st ESO A.

Within the international project Young Readers and Writers Society, our 4th ESO D students (aged 15–16) have collaborated to explore literature in a creative and interdisciplinary way. Throughout the project, students have delved into the lives and works of well-known authors, drawing inspiration to write their own original texts. These personal creations, ranging from short stories to poems, were compiled into two digital magazines, showcasing the talent and imagination of our young writers.
This experience, which ran from November to May, has been a meaningful opportunity for our students to strengthen their reading and writing skills, collaborate with their peers, and express themselves creatively.

The eTwinning project "The Impact of Fictional Characters in Literature" has been conducted with the participation of secondary school students aged 15-18 from Turkey, Greece, Romania and Spain.
The project aims to foster empathy with fictional characters, emphasize universal and national values, introduce different cultures, and enhance language skills. In this project, students have selected novels and chosen a character. They then had to create a digital design of the character’s clothing and accessories, reflecting the era, society, and setting described in the novel.
These designs were presented during joint online meetings, where students discussed the character’s significance, emotional depth, and role in the story, inspiring others to explore the novel. By participating, students have not only developed cultural and artistic awareness but also improved their foreign language skills and formed international friendships through cross-cultural communication.
The eTwinning project “Detective of My Problems: AI” involved students from Turkey, Romania, and Spain. It aimed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy by introducing artificial intelligence as a tool to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to real-life problems faced by students.
Pupils collaborated in multiple activities. They worked together on designing the project logo and posters, participated in joint online meetings to present their AI-supported solutions, and contributed to a shared map showcasing their cities and common challenges. In international teams, students discussed and compared their problems, reflecting on cultural similarities and differences.
For the final products, students identified a personal or local problem, analyzed it using AI-supported tools (such as ChatGPT or Canva AI for presentations), and proposed solutions. These outputs were uploaded to TwinSpace and Padlet.
