ERASMUS+
2024/2025
2024/2025
On the Erasmus Days 2024 (14th to 19th October), we created our Language Tree, creating leaves for Indoeuropean languages in a collaborative way (find here the distribution of languages per group).
Ten students from Poland aged 13-14 visted us, together with three teachers, on 25 and 26 February 2025. We contacted them through the company Euromind and they did some activities involving culture and language with the group of 1st ESO A in the framework of their Erasmus project "Cultural & Heritage Kaleidoscope". They exchanged oral presentations, typical food and dances (Polonaise and Sevillanas and Macarena). We also ate churros and Andalusian breakfast, did a tour for them around our school and did some breakouts together.
Three teachers from Finland visited us from 24 to 28 March 2025. They had interviews with some administrative representatives and coordinators and had the opportunity to supervise some of our bilingual teachers' classrooms. For these interviews, we were lucky to have 4 students from university who volunteered to act as bilingual interpreters. Furthermore, we've organised some activities in the afternoons and evenings for them to get to know our city and culture, using these as an excuse to discuss the similarities and fiferences between the Spanish and the Finnish educational systems.
After the success of our first exchange in February, we collaborated again with Euromind to host ten Polish students (aged 17–18) and three teachers from 28 to 30 May 2025. Students from 4º ESO B and D took part in three days of cultural and interactive activities. They shared presentations, enjoyed churros, joined in games and gymkhanas, created collaborative posters about Poland and Spain, and learned traditional dances such as Sevillanas, Macarena, and a Polish folk dance. The event ended with a farewell snack, certificates, and group photos. It was a wonderful experience that fostered teamwork, intercultural learning, and communication in English.
