Miss Raven Byars

My name is Raven and I am from the state of Kentucky in the United States! I enjoy reading, watching Netflix, eating chocolate, and travelling. When I travelled to Spain to work at Galileo, it was my first time in Europe. I have loved exploring the different cities, countries, and cultures of Europe. Some of my favorite things about Spain are the fashion, the beaches, and the historical monuments. I’ve had a great experience here at Galileo with the teachers and students. The teachers have been very welcoming to me and have taught me a lot about the school and Spain in general. The students are eager to learn about me and my country, so I use this to create fun activities for them to learn English. I am so grateful for my experience here at IES Galileo!

Mr Samuel Skurkovich

Hello! My name is Sam Skurkovich. I am originally from Rhode Island in the USA and most recently have lived in Colorado. In my free time I enjoy sailing, snowboarding and rock climbing with my friends. The auxiliares program has provided an amazing opportunity to explore this beautiful country and learn about Andalusian culture. Looking forward to a great year with my students!
