- To analyze and use pictures to explain a topic.

- Origins and purpose of Inquisition.
- Institutions and operation of the Inquisition in different countries.
- Victims and striking cases throughout History.
- Methods of torture used.
- Inquisition in times of Galileo: Galileo’s trial.
- The recent position of the Catholic Church regarding Galileo
LANGUAGE (L2)
- Vocabulary:
- Nouns: institution, religion, trial, court, witchcraft, magic, science, clergy, Pope, torture...
- Adjectives: condemned, guilty, innocent, right, unfair...
- Verbs: to condemn, to turn down, to retract, to accept, to judge.

To explain a digital picture's collage about different topics of the Inquisition.
ACTIVITIES / TIME DISTRIBUTION
- SESSION 1: assessment of previous knowledge through discussion with students and brainstorm. Introduce the unit and it´s organization and provide the necessary resources. Distribution in groups of 4-5 students. Summary and conceptual map of the content offered
- SESSION 2: Development of collage
- SESSION 3: Exhibition explaining the collage

ASSESSMENT
Essential Part (70%) through the achievement of the final task and its correct explanation.

- Supplementary Part (10%): attendance, attitude and interest in the unit, through direct observation of the student.
