OBJECTIVES

To make students aware of the global water problems and of their water consumption and make them think about possible solutions. The students will also discuss similarities and differences in approach to water issues between the countries of the participants. We may also support a charity. We hope to make European friends. The students will explore ICT tools for educational purposes.

WORK PROGRESS

At first students and schools introduce themselves and upload the videos, photos, presentations and a quiz. Students can also create logos of the project and vote for one of them. Then they make surveys about how we use water and how much we spend and compare the results ( pie charts, bar charts…) . Next they make a research about where the places we live get freshwater ( water resources) and where the waste water goes and then mark that on the map and upload the results and compare. In the next part of the project we will focus on water consumption and possible solutions. The students will measure their water consumption and come up with ideas for saving it. We may organize a charity event to support a water project. Around 22nd March ( World Water Day) we will organize events at our schools to promote saving water. We will create posters and a song/a poem about WATER ( each school a part) which will be performed and uploaded. We will evaluate the project and create an e-book.
