Bilingual Blog
I.E.S. Galileo belongs to Andalusian bilingual schools net, which means that several subjects are partially taught in a different language than Spanish. In our school these subjects are taught in English at least 50 per cent of the lessons time. It also implies that English is present in many and different daily school situations. English language is not just another subject of the syllabus but also a usual communication tool at our school. French, the second language in our school, assumes together with English another important leading role at school.
At the end of Secondary School, after having studied the four secondary years in the bilingual program, students will have a record made in their accomplishment and qualifications.
Students from our schools will be given preference to take part in summer language courses and other European Programs connected to language learning such as 'Idiomas y Juventud', Comenius, eTwinning, etc.
