Students will have the opportunity to put their artistic talents on display through paintings, drawings, models, or other forms of art. All displays of art must follow Islamic guidelines, which will be noted in the upcoming guidelines.
For the first Lady Zainab (sa) Azadari Art Exhibition, the theme will be "Al-Baqee", in commemoration of the 100th year since Al-Baqee has been demolished. Students will develop their art work in connection to Al-Baqee. For this year, the Azadari Art Fair will be a collaborative event with the Baqee Organization.
Faculty should encourage students to begin thinking of ideas for their art projects, and how they can relate them to "Al-Baqee". Suggestions and ideas will also be provided in the upcoming guidelines, along with the opportunity to speak with individuals with artistic backgrounds from our community to receive help.
Detailed guidelines, criteria, participation form, and more event details will be released soon. Faculty should make sure all of their students plan to participate in this new important and exciting event.

This will be an instant way to communicate with your students' parents and for them to communicate back with the faculty. We humbly request you to create or update your classes WhatsApp group as soon as possible and open up communication with the parents.
Only 1 group needed per grade.
Whichever faculty member from a grade creates the group should FIRST add their fellow faculty members from their grade. Fellow faculty members' information can be found on the Faculty Roster & Assignments sheet.

Faculty members MUST keep their cameras on while teaching class. Faculty should lead by example so students also follow this rule.
Make sure students keep their cameras on throughout your class. It is important for faculty members to help enforce rules.
If students are misbehaving in class or using the chat when they don't need to, please discipline them, and if needed, reach out to their parents so they can better monitor their children.
Remember to communicate with parents generally through your WhatsApp groups, or then individually for confidential matters. Parents need to be reminded of what they need to do in order to be a partner in their child's Islamic education. Communicating with them frequently, and as needed, will remind them that without their partnership their student will not be successful at IHS.
