Welcome to IHS Online

• IHS Online will be activated if in-person operations are unsafe (weather, etc.) to continue the Islamic educational process. Learn more about the IHS Online Background.

• Parents and students (of age) must be familiar with the IHS Online/Google Meet platform, and must read the Rules & Instructions.

• The IHS Online schedule will be the same as the in-person timings and structure.

• Students should join the Assembly a few minutes before 10:30 and then join the correct grade "Classroom" link after the Assembly.

• For Prayers and the Schedule B Break, students should pray/take a break at home, and rejoin classes at the correct time in the schedule.

IHS Online Rules & Instructions:

1. Everyone MUST use their IHS Account when joining IHS Online. 

   • If you are signed into a Google Account, please sign out/switch to use an IHS Account.

   • If you are not able to access your IHS Account, please email ihsit@iechusaini.org or school@iechusaini.org, with the student's full name and grade.

2. Microphones must be kept on "Mute" until students are asked to speak. Students can "Un-mute" when they need to speak only.

3. Cameras MUST BE KEPT ON and Student MUST BE appropriately visible. Students will be counted absent if their camera is not on, or if they are not appropriately visible. Faculty and students being able to see one another is beneficial and effective in the teaching and learning process.

4. Students must NOT use the chat option, or any other option, while school is in session, unless specified by their Faculty Member or an Administration Member.

5. Multiple IHS members in one household should separate themselves as much as possible during the session. It causes disruption in classes if multiple IHS members are sitting near one another.

6. Parents must periodically monitor their students during online classes to ensure they are behaving and following all the rules. Tracking records are kept of each online class session, and misuse/misbehavior will result in disciplinary action or being removed.

Instructions to Join the Online Assembly & Classroom:
**Using a desktop or laptop computer to join IHS Online is the most preferred method.
**Computer users are recommended to use Google Chrome (download) as their Web Browser.

1. Click the link in the next section for the IHS Assembly at 10:30 am. Then, after the Assembly, click the link for the appropriate Classroom.

2. You will land on the Google Meet page after clicking the respective link. Ensure you are using the student's IHS Account to join, not a personal Google Account.

3. Click “Sign in” or "Switch" in the top-right-hand corner.

4. Enter the IHS Account Username and Password or select it.

5. Click "Join now" and you will join the Online Assembly or Classroom.
