It is sound proof and designed for muffling noise. This makes a perfect room for audio recordings.
Students are experimenting with this new medium. Most of them have never heard or even thought about an audio podcast. They are more familiar with the Youtubers who put on video shows.
“My goal is to have them explore the power of their words. Podcasting is becoming a major force in the social media world. Any person with a recording device and the internet access can let their voices be heard. Podcasting breaks down digital divides, genders and race. If you have something interesting to say or talk about, your voice can reach anyone on the planet.” said Mr. Carideo the program director of Tech Talent.
Some students have not felt the podcast bug and wanted to do other things. They were given many choices. Most of them decided it would be interested to learn robotics. They are in the early stages of building their robots.
They are also building their friendships. Most of these students have never worked together before. They are a mix of various classes that only see each other during lunch or phys ed.
