Green Generation notes for the 2021 - 2022 compeition season: https://scioly.org/tests/files/greengeneration_2022_bc_ssss-tanyadas04_notes.pdf
This 90 page document contains all the general information that will be on the tests. This is a great place to start your research, as everything is summarized well. Read through everything and make sure you understand, and take note of topics you'd like to explore further.
Make sure to study diagrams before you go to competition. Lots of times, problems are designed to test your knowledge on connections between the environment and the organisms. Adding the most important diagrams on your cheatsheet is very helpful during tests.
Have a list of important goverment policies and legislation. Know their acronyms, and what each policy accomplished/ intended to accomplish
Know how to explain different concepts. Some questions ask for an explanation of some process or action. Make sure you prepare for these types of questions well, as they are worth lots of points.
Split the test up if you and your partner both have the knowledge to proceed on their own. If not, it is totally okay to work together! If you worry about running out of time, split the test up, solve what you can, switch halves of the test, then fill in the remaining blanks.
In this event, preparation is most important! Make sure you cover all of the topics given in the rules manual.
If you have any further questions, there’s a good chance they’re answered in the official rules otherwise, ask your partners (on both teams). Good luck, and have fun!
