PYP Curriculum

At each grade level, the teachers have organized the Georgia Standards of Excellence into 6 transdisciplinary themes: 

• Who we are

• Where we are in place and time

• How we organize ourselves

• How the world works

• How we express ourselves

• Sharing the planet.

These themes provide students with opportunities to inquire about local and global issues. Each theme is addressed each year by all students, and each unit of inquiry lasts for several weeks.
