ICNA Sisters Canada is a group of Canadian Muslim Women working to build an exemplary Muslim community through education, communication, and development. We are committed to empowering Muslim women through skill-building, leadership training, and developing new ideas to make life better for all Canadians, especially Women and Children.

Our departments plan, help, and motivate sisters to work individually and collectively for the betterment of society, regardless of age, ethnicity, or religion. We also invite people of all faiths to get to know about Islam and Muslims. We also collaborate with like-minded organizations to develop projects and causes that are aimed at bringing positive changes in society.

Our Action Projects

ICNA Sisters Windsor has been heavily involved in the community; engaging, addressing, educating and supporting the Windsor community through various programs and events. Below are some of the highlights.

Celebrated Islamic Heritage Month with Community @ Devonshire Mall

Hosted Women of Wonder Luncheon on International Women's Day

Delivered food and hygiene products to local Women's shelter via Outreach department

Held Kindness Drive for Children with Special Needs

Our Educational Projects

ICNA Sisters Windsor frequently organizes Educational Programs, Halaqas and events for the Muslim Community, particularly Sisters and Children in order to enable them to be productive and responsible Muslim citizens. 

MCNA - Muslim Children of North American provide necessary knowledge to Muslim children between the ages 5-12 years to help them live as a practicing Muslim and also to give them necessary tools to play a positive role in the community. 

Young Muslims, previously known as Muslim Youth Network is a youth-led organization and females-only youth wing of ICNA Canada, which works closely with girls aged 14 and up. The aim is to empower young Muslim women by guiding and supporting their various stages of life by the principles that Islam teaches us. We envision future leaders across Canada who can bring the meaningful message of Islam to their communities. 

ICNA Sisters Windsor's Neighbour- Net and members attend Weekly Quran class both in person and over FCC. Tafseer of surahs along with the root words, meanings and practical points are discussed in class. During summer, Sahabiat seeries- Stories of great Islamic Female icons are shared. Once a month, a dars is conducted along with potluck lunch.  


ICNA Sisters Windsor offers BiWeekly Halaqa Nights on Thursday for Sisters of all ages. These halaqa nights cover topics about seerah of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W as well as ahadith.
